Graue Scheibe

Graue Scheibe - 1970 reads as a flat grey disk set against a plain field. The disk sits as a single shape with clean edges. Blinky Palermo worked in reduced forms and flat colour, and this image follows that approach. At a distance the grey shape stays quiet and steady.

This product is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the grey tones from catching a strong shine. The frame sits flush against the wall and the back panel holds the whole thing flat.

It fits well above a low bookshelf in a study. From the reading chair the grey disk reads as a calm shape on the wall. Up close the edges stay clean and the print holds its tone.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
