Man, mustache, navel by Jean Arp — Fine Art

A slim vertical figure with a mustache and a round navel stands in the center of the sheet. The drawing follows the playful shape play Jean Arp used in his reliefs and drawings, where simple forms meet by chance. The face is reduced to a few lines, and the body holds one round opening near the stomach.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. The matte surface keeps the drawn lines even under a lamp, so the open spaces stay clear.

It fits a quiet reading corner above a low book shelf. From the chair you see the thin outline first, and the small round navel becomes the center of the picture.
