Manual

Manual by Robert Ryman shows painted panels with repeated layers of paint applied by hand. The surface carries small changes in tone from one pass to the next. The work comes from the minimalist painting practice of the artist, where the paint and the support become the main subject.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame finish can follow the room. A light frame on a dark wall, or a dark frame on a pale wall, keeps the painted surface plain and easy to read. The matte paper holds the soft grey tones without shine under a lamp.

In a kitchen, the work hangs on the side wall near the back door. You notice the small changes in tone when the morning light moves across the surface. The repeated painted panels stay quiet while you cook.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
