Number 88 Blue

Number 88 Blue - 1950 by Ad Reinhardt sits in the post war abstract painting tradition. A dark blue field holds a flat painted surface with no visible brush strokes. The colour stays even from one side to the other.

This fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel. The print keeps the blue tone flat and even, with no glare under a lamp. A ready to hang option sends the framed piece assembled.

It hangs above a desk in a study. From the doorway the blue field reads as one calm colour, and the edges stay sharp against the wall.

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
