Paysage méditerranéen — Fine Art

Paysage méditerranéen - Art Informel shows a coastal view built from broad painted strokes. The surface holds patches of blue, ochre and green with loose edges where the paint was worked quickly.

Nicolas de Stael used this method across many seaside scenes, laying colour in blocks that meet without smoothing out. The fine art version keeps that rough paint feel on a matte sheet.

A light frame on a dark wall lets the pale sky tones stand out at shoulder height. On a hallway wall near the stairs the eye catches the biggest colour shape first, then the small shifts between the blocks as you pass by.
