Untitled Black and Gray

Untitled Black and Gray - 1970 by Mark Rothko holds two soft rectangles floating on a dark background. The upper form feels lighter and the lower one sits heavier. Empty space around the shapes keeps the focus on them.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger on the back. You put it straight onto a nail or screw. The metal holds the sheet flat so the soft tones stay even when you look at them.

In a small study, the picture goes on the wall beside a desk. From the chair, you see the dark band first and the lighter one above it. The muted tones do not pull the eye away from the books and the lamp.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
