Abstraction in White — Fine Art

Abstraction in White by Hans Hofmann uses broad areas of white and off white tones. The shapes sit on a light ground with thin lines running through them. Hans Hofmann worked in a bold abstract style. From across the room the field reads as one calm surface. Step nearer and the separate blocks and pencil lines appear.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger on the back. It goes straight onto a nail or screw, so no separate frame is needed. The flat surface keeps the white tones steady without a glass shine.

Hang it on a deep hallway wall. You see the open white space from the front door. Up close you notice the thin lines and the small shifts between the tones.
