3D 2 72 — Fine Art

The print runs a vertical stack of dark shapes on a pale field. The shapes shift in tone from the top down, so the lower band feels heavier than the upper one.

Jeremy Moon repeats these hard edges across his paintings, and 3D 2 72 - 1972 keeps that same plain layout on paper. A fine art print uses a matte sheet so the greys do not pull a harsh shine, and the frame finish can follow the room: a light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

It works on a pale wall in a study, hung a little above the desk. From the chair you see the top band first and the darker lower band last. The image stays quiet without any shine.
