Naxos — Fine Art

Naxos - 1964 shows a broad painted band moving across a clean field. Jeremy Moon used steady hand marks and flat colour in this kind of work. The picture keeps its shapes separate and the eye follows the line from one side to the other.

This fine art print carries the flat colour and clear ground that Jeremy Moon worked with. The paper stays matte so the painted tone reads softly and there is no shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall or a dark frame on a pale wall keeps the picture in balance.
