Untitled - 1961 opens on a pale ground with painted shapes that push toward the edges. The eye enters near the centre and settles on the darker band at the bottom.

Jeremy Moon built this fine art print from a hard edge composition with open space left around the forms. The frame finish can follow the room, so a wood frame beside wooden furniture keeps the painted ground clear.

A dark frame on a pale wall draws the eye to the line work at the lower edge. It works on the wall beside a desk in a study, where the light from the lamp falls on the pale ground and the painted band reads as a steady block of tone.
