La Piva — Fine Art

La Piva - 2012 settles into a quiet space with its soft shifts in paint. The surface holds broad colour fields that move slowly across the sheet. Ron Gorchov worked with layered paint and a restrained hand. The name sits on the back, not in the picture itself.

This fine art print comes ready to hang. A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so it goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte paper keeps the soft colour changes even and does not add a shine.

In a narrow hallway the colours read as a calm stretch of paint. The changes between the fields stay slow as you walk past. Up close the surface holds its own, and the room feels steady with the work on the wall.
