Untitled — Fine Art

Untitled - Tachisme by Serge Poliakoff shows shapes painted in bold colours that overlap and shift across the sheet. The palette moves between warm reds, soft yellows and cool blues, so each shape sits against a different tone. The thick paint gives the surface a rough feel.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame finish can follow the room, with a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. A matte paper keeps the paint colours soft and stops a shine under a lamp.

On a painted bedroom wall, the overlapping forms read as big colour blocks from the foot of the bed. From the chair by the window you notice the thinner lines between the shapes.
