Rose Sun Box Nr. 2

A soft rose tone sits near the centre of the sheet and a brighter sun shape fills the middle distance. Rose Sun Box Nr. 2 - 1969 keeps the mark simple and the edges quiet. Theodoros Stamos worked with open fields of colour and a calm hand.

The fine art print carries the mark on matte paper so the rose tone stays even and the sun shape does not glare. A light frame on a dark wall lets the warm colour read without extra shine.

On a pale hallway wall the warm rose shape reads first, and the darker frame line settles at shoulder height. The view stays clear from the stair landing and the sun shape holds the eye.
