Rowing Home — Fine Art

Two rowers pull a small boat across a flat stretch of water. The dark hull sits low in the centre while the water spreads away on both sides. Rowing Home keeps the figures close to the foreground and leaves the sky open.

The fine art print uses a matte paper that dulls glare from a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the water tones stay separate. A dark frame on a pale wall does the same for the rowers. The frame finish can follow the room you choose.

In the hallway above the coat hooks the boat reads clearly. From the far end you see the dark hull first. Up close the paper keeps the water lines soft. The light from the side door falls across the surface without glare.
