#2 Pri-Rain

The picture for #2 Pri-Rain spreads wet colour across the sheet in wide bands. Sam Francis worked with open colour and chance during the abstract expressionist period, letting paint move freely. The marks stay broad and the edges stay soft.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the blue-grey washes from shining under a lamp.

In a bedroom, the wash covers the wall above the bed and the room feels calmer at night. From the doorway the broad bands read as one block, and the small paper grain shows when you stand near the bed.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
