29.5.64 — Fine Art

The title 29.5.64 - 1964 points to a date, a key detail in the abstract work of Julius Bissier. The painting shows a plain field with a few flat colour areas and a quiet ground. The marks are simple and hold their own space.

This fine art print uses a matte paper that keeps the flat colour areas calm under room light. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white or wood frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall and keeps the flat planes separate.

It works on a bedroom wall near a low lamp. From the bed you see the flat colour areas, and the small marks stay clear when you stand close. The black frame keeps the pale field quiet in the evening.
