4 Glasses 1974 — Fine Art

Four glass cups sit side by side in 4 Glasses 1974, each one catching a different bit of light. The painter works with clear everyday objects and lets the glass show through. Janet Fish often paints fruit bowls, bottles and cups in still life arrangements.

A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel carries the picture. You get the print ready to hang when the assembled option is chosen. The frame keeps the edges clean around the glass shapes and the back panel holds the print flat.

In a kitchen, the glass shapes sit near the sink and the light from the window lands on the cups. You see the reflections in the glass and the clear outlines of each cup. The quiet arrangement gives the kitchen a steady look.
