Abstract Composition

Two colour bands run across the sheet and meet in a soft curve. The Abstract Composition by Sonia Delaunay uses strong contrast to hold the eye at the join. You can see the flat colour blocks from the other side of the room and the small misregistered edges on the paper when you stand close.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang on a nail or screw with a metal hanger on the back. The matte paper keeps the bright bands flat and the dark area does not shine under a lamp.

On a kitchen wall near the kettle the big colour blocks sit above the counter and you notice the curve where the two bands meet each day.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
