Abstract Swirl

Abstract Swirl by Sonia Delaunay turns on a turning line of colour that bends and returns on itself. The shape suggests a slow spin, built from bands that change tone as they turn. This kind of work sits within her wider study of moving colour and rhythm.

The fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the tones even when light hits from the side. You get a ready to hang piece straight away when the ready to hang option is chosen.

In a narrow kitchen passage, the turning line catches the morning light and the eye follows it along the wall. From the table you see the curve first, then the smaller shifts in tone near the edge.
