About this work

Alba

Alba - 1997 shows a broad painted field in Gunther Forg style, with soft colour areas laid down in a steady way. The surface has a flat look, and the painted shape holds the centre of the sheet.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame. The print is fixed flat on the support, so the painted areas stay even under a light.

It works on a study wall above a desk, where you see the even colour field at a short distance and the flat paint surface at a longer distance. The metal hanger on the back takes the weight without extra fittings.
