Albero Di Fronte 1

Albero Di Fronte 1 shows a tree shape worked over many times. Thick paint sits in layers, and some areas look scraped back.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The marks are rough and the colours stay close to the ground. Frank Auerbach built the picture by drawing and painting on the same surface many times.

The frame finish can follow the room, so a light frame sits on a dark wall or a wood frame goes beside wooden furniture. The matte surface keeps the paint layers readable without shine under a lamp. It works on a hallway wall beside a coat hook, where the layered marks catch the light as you pass.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
