Alhambra, Patio de la Reja by John Singer Sargent — Fine Art

Alhambra, Patio de la Reja shows a sunlit courtyard in Granada with carved stone screens, a narrow water channel and potted plants. The scene uses quick outdoor strokes and a bright colour range that Sargent brought to his travel sketches and watercolours.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The paper holds the light greens and stone tones without a glossy shine, so the painted marks stay readable under room light.

In a narrow hallway near a door you notice the dark screen shape first, then the water line catches the light from a lamp on the far wall.
