Apples 1916 — Fine Art

Round fruit hangs or rests in a tight group against a plain ground. Apples 1916 shows that simple subject with flat shapes and clear edges. The paint sits on the surface in even layers. A quiet still life keeps the eye moving from one fruit to the next.

This fine art print keeps those flat shapes without added gloss. The frame finish you choose gives the image a clean edge on the wall. White keeps the fruit shapes open. Dark wood sets the reds and greens apart from the wall.

Hang it on a pale wall above a low table. From the doorway you read the fruit shapes first. Step closer and you see the hard edges between colour and ground. That is where the picture stays clear.
