About this work
Artwork by Morris Louis
Diagonal washes of cobalt blue streak across raw canvas. This untitled Morris Louis painting unfurls like liquid pigment caught mid-flow.
The color thins at the edges, bleeding into ochre and muted violet without hard lines. Gravity seems to pull the hues downward, leaving faint rivulets where the acrylic once pooled. No brushwork interrupts the surfacejust layers of translucency stacked like stained glass.
Hang it where morning light can pass through, above a low credenza or beside a narrow hallway. The frame keeps the focus on the colors quiet movement.
