About this work

Aspen, Colorado

The painting Aspen, Colorado - 1967 reads like a quiet mountain view. Green tones sit next to grey and brown, so the trees and slopes feel plain and built from paint. A few shapes hold the picture together without crowding the sheet.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the softer greens from looking shiny on the wall. The frame gives the picture a clean edge and the back panel holds it steady.

It hangs in a bedroom above a bed. From the bedside you see the broad tree shapes first. The lighter areas soften the room at night.

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
