Attendant — Fine Art

Attendant by Robert Ryman shows a quiet field of white paint with soft grey passages across the surface. The tone shifts slowly from one area to the next, with no sharp edges between the tones.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The work belongs to the minimalist painting practice that uses plain colour and careful layering. A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so it goes straight onto a nail without a separate frame.

The matte finish keeps the pale greys soft under a lamp. In a bedroom, the picture sits on the wall near the bed and the neutral tones settle beside the bedding.
