Autobiography - Abstract Expressionism uses layered felt shapes and soft colour patches that suggest a personal record. Miriam Schapiro worked with fabric and paint to build these kinds of mixed forms. The surface holds small stitched lines and broad painted areas that overlap.

The fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel, so the layered marks stay flat and the edges stay clean. You get a ready to hang piece that keeps the stitched feel without the texture catching the light.
