Balls — Fine Art

Balls - 2001 by Lygia Pape uses the geometry of the artist kinetic and concrete art practice. Small round forms repeat across the picture in a loose arrangement. The shapes sit in muted tones against a plain field, with each ball set slightly apart from the next.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The print sits flat inside the frame so the round shapes hold their spacing. A back panel keeps the surface steady on the wall.

In a bedroom, the round forms read from the foot of the bed. The soft tones stay even in morning light. The frame edge gives the picture a clear line against the wall.
