Berlin 1

Berlin 1 - 1970 by Dieter Roth sits on a wall with a quiet city feel. The image carries a street scene with soft washes and small dark areas. The picture feels like a quick study from a road in Berlin.

This fine art print uses a matte paper that holds the grey tones without shine. The frame finish can follow the room, so a dark frame sits on a pale wall or a light frame goes on a dark one.

It hangs in a kitchen above the counter where morning light comes in. From the doorway you see the soft grey shapes, near the sink you notice the small marks.
