Big Sur and Branch — Fine Art

Big Sur and Branch shows a wide coastal scene with a tree branch reaching across the front. Dark green slopes sit beside pale sand and a quiet sea. Eyvind Earle fills each band with a different tone so the land and water read plainly.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. That edge keeps the dark tree line from fading into the paint behind it. The wood frame does the same job if you choose that finish. The black frame adds weight to the pale water.

Hang it on the kitchen wall near the table. When you stand by the sink you see the land tones against the light water. The branch crosses the view and the white frame holds the whole scene in place.
