Birth

Birth by Victor Vasarely fills the sheet with angular spots that shift from dark to pale in steady steps. The shapes sit close together and the eyes follow them in rows.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. From a distance the pattern reads as one block of tone. Up close the small changes between each spot become clear.

The colours vary in the picture, but the method stays the same: a grid of forms that step in value. Vasarely worked in op art and built these fields from repeated marks.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
