About this work
Black Relationship 1924 shows a field of dark marks and soft coloured patches across the sheet. The work comes from the abstract painting practice of Wassily Kandinsky, who used lines and colour patches to build a mood without a single subject.
The picture arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. On a plain bedroom wall the dark patches read as a calm field, and the small colour notes show up when you pass by.
fine art paper holds the image without shine, so the dark tones stay even and the lighter patches do not glare. The print stays flat when it goes up on the wall.
