Blowball I

A seed head turns in the air on the printed page. Fine pen lines build the thin edge of the head and the fine line drawing of the stem holds steady. MC Escher used this kind of measured line drawing for his printmaking practice.

The image stays calm and the lines stay clear. Blowball I shows that quiet study of a grain motif. The paper is matte, so the grey lines stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp.

The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. You can put this fine art piece on a wall in a bedroom. From the bed you see the seed head shape, and the fine lines hold the eye.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
