Blue Balls VII — Fine Art

Blue Balls VII shows layered round forms in bright blue tones spread over a loose white ground. The shapes overlap like wet spots, and a few sharper edges cut through the softer washes. Sam Francis worked with open colour and dripping paint across many years, and this print picks up that way of building a field out of repeated blue forms.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger is fixed to the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to find a frame.

It fits on a wide wall in a bedroom, where the blue forms read from the doorway and the small edge marks show when you stand nearer the bed. The metal hanger holds it level without extra fitting.
