Blue Room

Blue Room by Cy Twombly shows a pale ground with pale blue tones spread across the surface. Small handwritten marks and broad strokes follow one another in loose rows. The work sits in the postwar abstract painting tradition.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood and black. A black frame edge keeps the pale surface calm against the wall. The frame gives the picture a clear border.

On a hallway wall near a clock the broad strokes settle first. Near the matte paper the small pencil lines show up. The blue room sits above a coat rail.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
