About this work
Blues, Reds - 1969 shows two main colours sitting against each other. Blue covers one side while red takes the other. The painted areas meet without blending, so each side keeps its own tone. This fine art print keeps those separate colour fields clear on the page.
The fine art finish lies flat under a ceiling light, so the blue side does not reflect and the red side stays steady. A light frame on a dark wall lets the two colours stand apart.
It hangs on a kitchen wall above the counter. From the table you see the blue field first, then the red edge beside it. The colours stay separate when you stand near the sink.
