Bright Meteor

Bright Meteor shows a dark streak cutting across a pale field of paint. Large painted marks run in one direction with small rough patches around them. The work belongs to the wider painting practice of Jean Dubuffet, where texture and uneven colour sit on the surface.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. You lift it and the metal hanger takes the weight against the wall.

In a hallway with a narrow strip of light, the dark streak pulls the eye along the wall as you walk past. The rough painted patches stay soft under that side light.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
