Bright Nothing

The field in Bright Nothing holds open colour with clear space left on one side. The eye starts on a bright band and rests where the paint thins out. Sam Francis let the empty part of the sheet carry weight.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte paper keeps the colours from shining under a lamp.

It works on a short brick wall at the top of a narrow stairwell. From the landing you see the broad wash, and from the steps below you notice the lighter edges where the paint thins out.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
