Butterfly Of Winter — Fine Art

Butterfly Of Winter - 1985 shows a hint of a butterfly shape held in a cold field of colour. Ronnie Landfield often works with layered colour bands and a quiet mood. The image stays simple, with the title pointing at the season and the insect at once.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the cool tones even, so the light in a room does not add shine to the picture.

It suits a bedroom wall over the bed, where the slow colours sit against the quiet of the space. From the doorway you notice the pale band first, then the small shifts in the colour as you stand near the bed.
