Cadeau Gift Replica of the Lost 1921 Original by Man Ray — Fine Art

A black oval metal object rests on a plain grey ground in this replica of the lost 1921 original. The title Cadeau Gift Replica of the Lost 1921 Original names the work by Man Ray. The clean edge on the surface suggests a measured object placed without extra detail.

This fine art piece arrives in a frame with a white, wood, dark wood or black finish. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.

In a narrow dining room, the grey ground reads as a quiet wall color and the black oval holds its own space. On the side table the metal look seems plain and unadorned. From the kitchen doorway you see the oval first, then the grey ground.
