Canto VI

Canto VI by Barnett Newman uses broad fields of color cut by a single vertical band. The composition stays flat and open, with two main tones facing each other on a clean ground. The work belongs to post war american color field painting.

The object is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the color fields even and stops glare from a ceiling lamp. The frame adds a hard edge around the print.

It fits a hallway wall with strong wash from a side window. From the landing you notice the vertical band first, and as you pass it the colors settle into the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
