Chill Factor, 1973

Chill Factor, 1973- shows cool blue and green washes meeting warm ochre patches on a pale ground. The thin colour sits in loose layers, and the edges stay open.

This fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel. The frame adds weight so the paper stays flat over time. The back panel seals the print, and the surface stays matte so the cool tones do not pick up shine from a lamp.

Hang it on a south facing wall in a living room. From across the room the blue and green read as a soft field. Step closer and the warm ochre patches show up against the cool layers. The frame keeps the print steady above a low shelf.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
