Chris Foss by Chris Foss — Fine Art

Chris Foss fills the picture with bright ships and strange worlds. Red hulls sit next to blue skies and yellow suns. The shapes sit tight and leave clear gaps between them. Chris Foss builds each scene from bold flat colour.

The paper is fine art stock with a matte finish. A light frame on a dark wall keeps the red and blue from fading into the background. The surface stays dull so the colours hold their own.

On a kitchen wall above the sink the picture catches morning light. From the table you see the bright hull shapes first, then the small dark lines between them.
