Coca Cola Plan 1958 — Fine Art

Coca Cola Plan 1958 shows a print made from the artist Robert Rauschenberg practice of mixing everyday materials. The image uses flat blocks of colour, a black lettering block and a soft printed tone.

The fine art frame has four finishes, white, wood, dark wood and black. A white frame edge keeps the flat colour blocks open and does not crowd the lettering block. A dark wood frame edge gives the print a firm outline and holds the soft printed tone against the wall.

Over a kitchen table the lettering block reads first and the flat colour blocks sit next to a bowl of fruit. From the doorway you see the printed tone and the frame edge at once, and the room feels a little more put together.
