Composition 30 — Fine Art

Composition 30 shows a set of flat colour planes placed next to each other. Sonia Delaunay arranged the shapes into a steady rhythm across the sheet. The marks read as repeated blocks of colour rather than a scene.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print sits on a matte paper that holds the flat colour without shine. You can place the print on a wall at shoulder height so the colour blocks read as a row. A light frame on a dark wall lets each plane stand on its own.

It fits a study wall above a desk where the light comes from a side lamp. From the desk you see the flat planes as a measured row of colour blocks. The wood frame beside a bookshelf ties the tones together.
