Concord

Concord by Barnett Newman shows a broad vertical band set into a plain field of colour. The band is painted in even strokes that hold the field apart from each other.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. A white or black frame finish gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. That edge keeps the band from drifting into the surrounding paint.

On a plain wall at eye level the band reads first, then the field opens up around it. From a short distance you see the brush marks and the steady pressure of the hand.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
