Curtains — Fine Art

The title Curtains points to a scene of draped fabric in the style of Paul Cézanne. He worked with short brushstrokes and built forms from patches of colour. The picture keeps the folds simple and steady.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger on the back that fits onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a frame. The matte paper keeps the colours even, so the fabric folds do not glare.

It suits a bedroom wall opposite the bed, where you see the cloth shapes in morning light. From the doorway the folds read as simple blocks, and closer up the short strokes show in the colour patches.
