Diamond Jim

Deep color lines stack on a pale sheet in Diamond Jim - 1972. The bands step in tone from one to the next. A darker band sits below a lighter one, and the eye moves along the row.

The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel behind the sheet. The matte face keeps the soft color shifts and the straight edges stay clean.

It hangs on a bedroom wall near a shelf of books. You notice the slow color steps from the bed, and the pale space between the bands stays calm.
