Emblemata Sundial — Fine Art

A sun dial sits in the centre of the sheet, drawn with steady black lines. Thin marks follow the rim and the shadow falls across the face. The title Emblemata Sundial names this measured drawing. The eye enters at the centre and moves out to the edge.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The frame sits on the image with a clear edge. A white or black finish gives the line work room to breathe on the wall. You see the marks clearly against the plain finish.

On a kitchen wall above the table the dial reads well from the doorway. In a study above the desk the steady lines hold the eye while you work. The shadow line across the face stays clear in daylight.
