Enclosed II — Fine Art

Enclosed II - 2010 United States by Will Barnet shows a quiet drawing with a few shapes held inside a plain field. The title points to a place kept within limits. At a distance the forms read as simple blocks. Closer, the taped edges and pencil lines show how the artist built the image line by line.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger on the back fits straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame. The matte surface keeps the soft greys and the drawn lines from shining under a lamp.

On a hallway wall near the stairs, the picture reads as a calm block between the doors. From the landing you see the outer shape first. Walking past, the hand drawn edges come into view.
